Stratos Selects IceWarp to Supply Messaging Service to AmosConnect

[Satellite Today 09-24-08] Stratos Global Corp. reached an agreement with IceWarp to provide Stratos’ broadband connectivity service, AmosConnect, with IceWarp’s messaging platform, the companies announced Sept. 24.
     IceWarp’s server will handle underlying messaging complexities so Stratos can focus on developing its core programs and delivering its next-generation satellite communication services to the shipping industry, Stratos said.
    “We analyzed many competing solutions on the market, and IceWarp was the only product that met nearly all of our requirements in a single package,” Greg Moss, director of Stratos’ technical program management, said in a statement.
