[Satellite Today – 5-16-08] The Missouri Department of Transportation has deployed a number of iNetVu mobile antenna system developed by C-Com Satellite Systems Inc., the company announced May 13.
The systems were sold to the department by Orbital Data Net, a Columbia, Mo.-based satellite systems integrator and C-Com value-added reseller.
“The advanced emergency communications network solutions we have developed provide numerous benefits to Missouri agencies, including an easy-to-deploy, versatile, and transportable solution using the C-Com iNetVu technology,” Greg Heifner, CEO of Orbital Data, said in a statement. “These mobile solutions are critical for public safety measures, providing a high reliability communications system in the case of a crisis or disaster.”
